About the Project:
On July 2023, Ehsan Saboohi, Composer and the Post-Orientalism music theorist published his theory revolving the significance of the bass line in the methodology of Post-Orientalism music with his twenty four bass compositions for a sine wave on Noise à Noise, which was an unprocessed set of sounds.

Saboohi invited his colleagues from across the disciplines of art (Music, Painting, Cinema and Literature) through open-calls and friendly invitations for freely developing pieces with his bass lines.
About the Album
This album is composed with an electronic Post-Orientalism approach. The artist has paved the way for the passage from the first piece into the second by creating atmospheres and the use of electronic coloration. The look and form-based, and time based structures on the second part which is linked using a number of ten sound blocks develops movement and auditory dynamism. On the last part, which focuses on percussive instruments that are processed using sound synthesis, Kian is victoriously dancing and stomping.

درباره‌ی پروژه
در ماه ژوئیه‌ی سال ۲۰۲۳، احسان صبوحی، آهنگساز و نظریه پرداز موسیقی "پُست-اورینتالیسم" نظریه‌ی خود را در ارتباط با اهمیت خطِ باس در روشمندی موسیقی پُست-اورینتالیسم با کمپوزیسیون بیست و چهار خط باس برای یک موج سینوسی را با نشر نویز‌انویز منتشر کرد. صداهای این آلبوم بدون هیچ‌گونه پردازش صدایی مورد نشر قرار گرفت. که از طریق پیوند زیر قابل شنیدن است:

صبوحی همچنین با انتشار این آلبوم، در چندین فراخوان عمومی و دوستانه از تمامی همکاران خود در رشته‌های مختلف هنر (موسیقی، نقاشی، سینما، ادبیات) به صورت کاملا آزادانه دعوت به همکاری انجام داد.
درباره‌ی آلبوم
این آلبوم در ژانر موسیقی الکترونیک پست اورینتالیسم است. در قسمت نخست کیان حسین با ایجاد فضا‌سازی و استفاده از رنگ‌آمیزی‌های مختلف الکترونیک، مقدمه‌ای مناسب را برای ورود قسمت دوم اثر فراهم می‌سازد. نگاه و ساختارهای فرمِ زمان‌مند در قسمت دوم که از ده بلوک صدایی مرتبط با یکدیگر پیوند یافته است تحرک و پویایی شنیداری مناسبی ایجاد می‌کند. در قسمت پایانی استفاده و تمرکز بر سازهای کوبه‌ای که از طریق سنتز‌های صدایی پردازش شده است به رقص و پایکوبی ظفرمند می‌انجامد.

About the Artist
Kian Hossein is a composer and sound designer hailing from Tehran, Iran. His musical journey commenced in 2006 when he began taking piano lessons. Over time, he developed a keen interest in electronic music and sound design, dedicating a significant portion of his free time to experimentation and self-study. Shortly after graduating from QIAU in 2012, he ventured into the professional world as a sound artist.
After a few years, his journey took a new direction as he discovered a profound passion for contemporary music and composition. He sought mentorship from the accomplished Nima Atrkar Rowshan and Ardavan Vosoughi.
Kian's works have graced various prestigious festivals and events, spanning the spectrum from music festivals to theatrical performances. He has actively participated in workshops and conferences and has collaboratively performed with fellow artists."

Post-Orientalism Statement:
Post-Orientalism is a term coined by the Composer and music theorist Ehsan Saboohi to describe a music language for analyzing the aesthetics of his and his colleagues' compositions. Saboohi defines this language as follows:
"Post-Orientalism is a modern music language that uses microtonal sounds and intervals alongside altered sound chain and block structures to achieve a post-orientalism musical piece in different acoustic and electroacoustic compositions."
Ehsan Saboohi, in his third composition period, is looking for a different language of common Contemporary Classical music trends by taking inspiration from the philosophical-social ideas of the famous philosopher Edward Said (1935-2003).

درباره‌ی هنرمند
کیان حسین آهنگساز و طراح‌صدای اهل تهران است. او آموختن موسیقی را در سال ۱۳۸۵ با دریافت آموزش ساز پیانو آغاز کرد. او به صورت تدریجی به موسیقی الکترونیک و طراحی صدا علاقه پیدا کرد، و بخشی از زمان آزاد خود را به تجربه اندوزی در این زمینه به صورت خودآموخته اختصاص داد. او پس از اشتغال به عنوان هنرمند صدا علاقه خود به موسیقی معاصر را کشف کرده و به آموزش نزد آهنگسازانی مانند نیما عطرکار روشن و اردوان وثوقی پرداخت. آثار او تا به اینجا در رخدادهای گوناگون مورد اجرا قرار گرفته که شامل طیفی میان جشنواره‌های موسیقی و اجراهای صحنه‌ای می‌باشد.
استینمت موسیقی پُست-اورینتالیسم
پُست-اورینتالیسم اصطلاحی است که توسط احسان صبوحی آهنگساز و تئورسین برای توصیف یک زبان موسیقی برای زیبایی شناسی آهنگسازی او و همکارانش ساخته شده است. صبوحی این زبان را این‌گونه تعریف می‌کند:
«پُست-اورینتالیسم یک زبان موسیقایی مُدرن است که از صداها و فواصل میکروتنال به‌همراه ساختارهای زنجیره‌ای و بلوک‌های صوتی دگرگون‌شده برای دست‌یابی به یک اثر موسیقایی پُست-اورینتالیسم در ترکیب‌بندی‌های متفاوت آکوستیک و الکتروآکوستیک استفاده می‌شود.»
صبوحی در دوره‌ی سوم آهنگسازی خود، با الهام و تاثیر از اندیشه‌های فلسفی-اجتماعی فیلسوف برجسته ادوارد سعید (۱۹۳۵_۲۰۰۳) در جستجوی زبانی متفاوت از جریان‌های موسیقی کلاسیک معاصر رایج غرب است.
